There are many "primer" on DIS kinematics that unfortunately do not go very deep. The most useful articles were written during the startup of Hera. In them the various ways if extracting the relevant kinematic parameters x, y, and Q2 are discussed in some depth, going even beyond what eDISK tries to achieve. Some of them are hard to find but using the title and/or author one should be able to find them on the web. Any search engine will do.
